Our flat calm sea state continues here, which makes everything we do that much more enjoyable. Our fishing today was a slow scratch on quality tuna and yellowtail. Having done this for a couple of days, we are now ready for a change of pace and will be fishing in a different area tomorrow.

Two photos today, first Gary Tsunoda shows off a 59 pound yellowtail. Second is David Honadle who at 6' 5" makes his 70# yellowfin look small.

We arrived at our destination in flat calm conditions and got off to a slow start. A couple of anchor jobs resulted in a handful of 60 - 70 pound tuna. The third anchor job was the charm today as the fish hung around and we had something going for the rest of the day. We traveled down all day in flat calm weather. We kept busy rigging our gear and getting ready to begin fishing tomorrow. Steve Puckett of Baja Fish Gear conducted an impressive raffle, giving away a couple thousand dollars worth of gear. We have reports of good fishing on our bow and good weather in the forecast.
