Royal Star Fish Report

Royal Star

It sounds like the spring Alijos fishing is right on track once again demonstrating the great potential of the Spring/early Summer eight day voyages and the incredible value anglers realize in long range sport fishing at this transitional time of year. Between fishing at Alijos, the coastal islands, and offshore any of our five to eight day adventures in April, May, and June are a bona fide opportunity to see long range fishing for all species of tunas and yellowtail at its finest. From a value perspective, take a look at pricing at this time of the season and you will see what I mean. As this is a transition time and at the very least early in the season, we price these voyages more attractively to motivate anglers to join us. Next year's pricing will be in line with 2009 so if this time of year works for your schedule now is a great time to start planning.

As well as the rip roaring action at Alijos more signs of offshore Albacore have been found down in the 200 mile zone by boats transiting to and from the islands. All this bodes well for June - particularly the 1 1/2 day trips we replaced a couple of cancelled longer voyages with back in May. I will keep you posted with information as I receive it and will continue with the spectacular tagging photos as well. Enjoy today's selections of Dr. Dave Hall in action and your day.
