07/31/12 A little slower today but we managed to put together a nice catch on 20-40lb bft and yft out of three long drifts. The bft put on a great show but lived up to their reputation of being crafty biters. The lighter flouro short topshots were the way to go which made for fun angling. 07/30/12 We started out with a good morning bite then scratched steady throughout the day for 90bft and all the yft we wanted. The bulk of the bft were 20-35lbs while the yft were 12-18lbs with a few standouts over 30. We are going to take advantage of this beautiful weather and spend another day here in the offshore grounds hoping for a good shot at the bft tomorrow.
