We started our annual Tom Walker 7-day this afternoon on the offshore grounds in
beautiful weather. Unfortunately we didn't get the right one but we did string
together a handfull of short stops for 55 mixed bft and yft.
With the weather glassing off we're going to spend the night and hope they float
tomorrow.
Royal Star regulars Greg Fox and Andy Cooperman are in today's shot with a yft
and bft respectively.

7/27/12 Between the luxury of time and a booming catch of "primo" RSW Bluefin, yellowfin, yellowtail, and dorado safe in the tanks we opted for the inside route up the line avoiding an unnecessary thumping in blustery conditions and sloppy seas. To the delight of everyone we succeeded enjoying a day of calm, northwest travel but for a few small "potato patches" curtly navigated. 7/26/12 The photo today tells the story; at least the best part anyway. We made a full day of variety/goof off fishing mainly targeting halibut and kelp bass, but coming up with a whole lot more. Captain Randy Toussaint, famous for his countless amazing fishing feats, did not disappoint today. In addition to the halibut and kelp bass targeted, numerous soupfin sharks were captured and released, three dandy thresher sharks, at least one fat bat ray, and a dozen or more...... Read More
