Fish Report for 7-14-2012
The good fishing continued for us today offshore in the bluefin grounds. We
found a couple of spots early that stayed with the boat and bit a little bit.
Then as is typical with bluefin they seemed to go down. In the afternoon we got
a school which got with it for a little bit then settled in and we kept 1 - 3
going for an hour or so. Since everyone now has some bluefin tuna onboard for
the dinner table we will be inshore again tomorrow for a few hours of coastal
fishing.
In today's shot Crewman Paul Carameo displays a 25# bluefin taken by a happy
Jill Ouano.

The quality of calico was outstanding with most from two to five pounds and a few bigger all the way up to an honest eight pounds. I'm sending two pictures today. First is Tony Garza...... Read More

We had an incredible day of fishing today in very good weather. We started out with biting yellowtail from 18 - 30 #. They were eating everything from the surface iron to the dropper loop. It was just a matter of which outfit an angler wanted to use. By nine in the morning everyone had enough yellowtail and we left them biting. We then headed offshore looking for tuna. The yellowfin we found were 18 - 42# fish with a...... Read More
