Fish Report for 7-5-2012
07/04/2012
A happy 4th it was here on the Royal Star today as we awoke to flat calm seas
and an ocean full of bluefin. We hit spots all day for our daily limits with
most of the fish going 25-35lbs. We did get one school of the bigger models late
that produced three 60-70lbers. Needless to say we're going to spend the night
here.
The overall sign was incredible today with spots of bft being reported by the
entire fleet spread over 100 miles, this should bode well for our upcoming
trips.
First shot shows Mark Mayeda with a 65lber while Randall Yee is in the second
with a 70lber gaffed by Capt Brian Simms.

7-4-201207/03/12 Another fine day of yt angling with a few halibut and a wsb thrown in. Once again the action was spread throughout the day which I prefer over wide open done in two hour style. The guys are all satiated and the cocktails were flowing early prompting a move out to the bft grounds this evening. Bob Newman is in today's shot with a nice butt. Photo Here... ...... Read More

07/02/12 We got in out of the weather and had an enjoyable day of angling for quality yellows with a couple halibut thrown in today. The sign was incredible but the guys had to work at it which made for a fun day. We are going to give this one more day before going in search of bft. ...... Read More
