Excel Long Range Sportfishing

We arrived at Fisherman's Landing at 0600 and weighed up the catch. Our catch this trip was very good quality fish and we did not sit there and just release fish that were not 190 or 200 pounds. The only fish we released was from passengers that said they did not need any fish or if the fish was 100 pounds or so and that was maybe a total of 20 yellowfin. For our trip we ended up with 54 yellowfin over 200 pounds and 14 yellowfin over 192 pounds. Just amazing overall quality and we had flat calm weather for most of the trip. Our jackpot winners are as follows. Michael Abovsky won first place with a 281 pound yellowfin John Chambers won second place with a 279 pound yellowfin John Mahany won third place with a 257 pound yellowfin Honorable mention goes to David Gould with a 292 pound yellowfin Harry Klauher: 207, 213, 223 Bob Maugh: 223, 204 Dan Felger:226, 206 Michael Abovsky:211, 281 Joe Dawson:224, 247 Mike Nowak:204, 255, 250,238, 206 Bob Dawson:240, 251,232 John Chambers:229, 279 Diane Chamber:259 Bill Lynd:213,228,208 Phil Reummler:228,223,227,240,220 Sam Cornell:199 Dennis Emken: 203, 253 Galen Steward: 206, 221,200,244 David Gould:292 John VanDeventer:232,232 David Smith:246, 245 John Mahany210,226,257 Stan Evans:240,218,226 Carlos Magallanes:238 Ron Huth: 221 Vince Otani: 231,233,203, 213 Austin Eagan: 220 We are going to depart on a 17 day trip on Feb. 10 for a 17 day trip
