Fish Report for 2-6-2024

Tim Ekstrom

A handful of shots and a couple of victories on big ones that definitely reminded us of the scope of this challenge. Far different from big bluefin or yellowfin offshore the dudes frequenting these haunts are built, tough, and street smart. Besting one of these cage fighters is a point of pride hard earned.

More or less a waiting game we are content to settle in, forego the pursuit of smaller yellowfin, and wait for the trophies to happen by. Well positioned for success the big bonanzas of ten days prior are currently long gone. Wait, read the conditions, and be patient; the age old fishing success formula.

Today’s features a new personal best for our good friend Kenny Higa. This fine 209 was Kenny’s reward for his morning effort. Congratulations!

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
