Nat Geo material today; enough to supply an entire series of action packed scenes. Miles of tuna to be seen in every form - jumpers, breezers, foamers, etc.; it was all there in living color plain to the naked eye. Yet as inspiring as the images are the maddening element of disinterest for our offerings is challenging to comprehend. How so many voracious individuals in such a state of violent frenzy can instantly discern our baits and lures from their quarry, then refuse them, is a mystery to remain unsolved in the human mind. And one that will never square with conventional associations.
That said my sentiments expressed are nothing new. Another day of offshore bluefin angling that was well worth the effort albeit frustrating as hell. For certain, as I have mentioned in many past postings, it makes those occasions when they drop their guard that much more satisfying. And rest assured that they will slip up again, many times in the months ahead and more. Closing the book on this adventure we advance into the next three day voyage ready to get after it on new footing. Final image of the trip features first time Royal Star angler Cody Sato carrying on the Sato "Big Fish" tradition with this dandy 140 nabbed on the knife jig in the early am.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
