Fish Report for 1-23-2013

Plain, physically and mentally. We traversed the stretching leagues fair and indifferent. The sublime side of
Nature once again evoked peaceful notions - thoughtful, pleasant, and not too profound. A day of relaxation is what
it was. A day to be enjoyed in fine spirits by the grace of Mother Nature.
Tomorrow begins a more durable exploit, we hope, as the fishing portion of this voyage begins. After a worthy
stretch of travel we are all well prepared. It is time.

No muss, no fuss steady progress was made toward our simultaneous goals of preparing equipment and reducing the distance between us and our primary destination. By far superb weather, perfect traveling conditions remain the highlight. It makes everything, every moment so comfortable and easy. 1/20/13 A stock day of travel on the high seas; no noteworthy events to report, and really no thought worth mentioning. One thing I can say is that fishing down below this season thus far has been awfully good; incredible in fact, again. Between an abundance of fish, appropriately matched voyages, and a solid generation of well equipped anglers enthusiastic and passionate in their pursuit of giant yellowfin tuna these past few years down below have revealed the somewhat forgotten......
