We made a great fishing move today; one that unfortunately didn't produce any fish, but definitely
oriented us in both ways. I make light of it but in truth such unproductive moves can be, often are, as
important as the jackpots. Nagging questions are only answered with effort. It is part of the program. We
did catch and see plenty of mid and small grade dorado, but right now that is a feat that doesn't amount
to much; the ocean appears to be brimming full of the little buggers. Those we did land were gladly
released in favor of bigger and better specimens beyond.

The scenery was grand and the weather began on the right note but things went down hill in that
department, as forecast, rather quickly as the day waned. It was one of those startling transformations
that seized the attention of everyone as it manifested with the tact of a flatulent elephant entering a
sacred cathedral.

It was a rude awakening to say the least, and especially offensive after lavishing in the sweet caresses
of yesterdays Eden, but, as I have offered on many occasions before, she is a tempestuous, fiery
companion. The good news is that this blow is forecast to last only a day or two before serenity is
restored. We shall see.

For now we take our lumps fishing anyway in search of new grounds to ply. A little discomfort comes with
the territory and is certainly no surprise to this seasoned group of anglers. Without a doubt some good
fishing will trump the lumps and then some. We are ready.
