Royal Star Fish Report

Royal Star

We moved up the line today looking for larger tuna. We found the water structure
and quality that we were looking for, but the larger tuna never came up to play.
We caught some school size tuna with a few released and a few finding their way
into the RSW tank.

We will be at the dock tomorrow morning and in for a few days before starting
our fall season on wednesday.

I would like to thank our chartermaster Larry Brown and all of his sponsors for
their generous donations. Larry holds a raffle where the proceeds go to :

We will be offshore in a different area for our last day of fishing this trip. Brian...... Read More

We had a great day of action and variety today. We started with a good bite on 20-30# yellowtail that lasted for about an hour and a half. It was an iron throwers dream as they bit the jig very well. We then switched target species, looking for tuna and dorado. We had steady action throughout the late morning and afternoon punctuated by a good kelp which produced wide open action on both species. When the action gets hot and heavy...... Read More
