We're back to our normal routine this voyage departing on time, in fine conditions, with a perfect load
of bait and anglers ready to begin the adventure. Heading south toward the offshore grounds we throw our
hat in the pool among stiff competition. It appears that fair working weather will hold the door open for
at least another day providing a chance for all of us working collectively to triangulate and make the
most of what we find.

Overall it appears that the Bluefin down below pushed beyond the ideal water structure that benefits our
style of fishing and are now in lots of little pieces scattered far and wide. Northerly is still the
movement trend that promises better and better opportunities closer to home as the inevitable progression
continues. With just about all of us out and working now we are much better equipped to remain on the
fish when they show.

Seven days is the time frame we have to get the job done as the voyage commences with high expectations.
Reports from the lower grounds will continue as well as anything pertinent from up above. On that note
the closer range area that Capt. Brian Sims opened during the previous 2 1/2 day run again produced
excellent sign and decent catching on Bluefin today as well as wide open kelp paddy yellowtail. The set
up continues to be ideal for the upcoming 2 1/2 day voyages next week that still have a few spaces
available.

For now though we focus on the present and will update accordingly.
