This was a fantastic day of fishing. We had steady action on yellowfin tuna, with one to three for most of the day. We had a hit on nice grade dorado for daily limits of 15 - 18 pounders. We mixed in a couple of handfuls of yellowtail and a handful of Wahoo. We did it in greasy calm conditions. We will be here again tomorrow.

I'm breaking out of my mold today and sending two pictures. First is "Bub" McLain with a nice tuna. ( No he's not in Vegas). Second, Jeff Burroughs will have some good eats when he gets this Wahoo home.

We arrived at our fishing destination just in time for the current to back off and the bulk of the fish to leave the shallows. We traveled down all day today in good weather. Our time was spent rigging tackle and generally getting ready to start fishing tomorrow morning. Ed and Larry finished up their incredibly generous raffle with Seeker rods and Shimano reels amongst the top prizes.
