Fish Report for 9-26-2010
We traveled down all day today in good weather. Our time was spent rigging tackle and generally getting ready to start fishing tomorrow morning. Ed and Larry finished up their incredibly generous raffle with Seeker rods and Shimano reels amongst the top prizes. The anticipation is thick as we near our destination, so check back tomorrow to see how the fishing develops.

9-25-2010We got off to an early start on the Baja Fish Gear / Larry Brown Charter, clearing the point with a beautiful load of bait at 0930. We are heading down the line with good weather forecast for the next few days. We spent the day leisurely putting together outfits and relaxing. It took until about 1600 hrs. to get the one engine dialed in. There were a few head scratchers involved, and a fair share of stress, but the majority of our consternation was resolved when the "smoking gun" we were all hoping to find did indeed manifest. Upon replacing the failed component - she ran like new; literally. Both in tone and performance the main engines are now identical - just like they were when we fired them up...... Read More
