Royal Star Fish Report

Royal Star

After a couple of handfuls of quality yellowtail in the dark, we pulled our anchor and went in search of tuna. The spots we found early responded and we were off to a good start. The fish then took a break for the rest of the morning. As often happens right at meal time, we found a nice batch during the lunch call. They stuck with us for over an hour biting flylined baits and the kite. We then scratched a couple of fish a stop for the rest of the afternoon and finished up with a respectable catch of yellowfin tuna up to 70lbs.

Having taken in the scenic splendor of the island for two days, we are making a move offshore and will be looking in the morning.

We finished up with 56 fish for our experienced anglers. With the potential here for a really big day, we are spending the night and will be hard at it in the morning. Brian P.S.
