Royal Star

With flat calm weather and perfect looking conditions we had high hopes for a great day of fishing. We found a school in the dark which disappointed us and took off before first light. Seeing very little after light we were thankful for a call that there were fish biting in an area not too far away. We had a few short stops on our way into the area, and a few more once we got there. We managed to scratch a little bit of albacore and yellowfin, but the big hit eluded us today.

We are sliding down tonight hoping to spend the next few days hunting for trophy yellowfin.
