Our perseverance finally paid off here at Guadalupe today with good fishing on this quality tuna. It was a nice steady scratch from late morning on for a total of 62 fish from 50-75lbs. Had the resident tax collector not taken his thirty percent, we would have had a huge day. Hopefully today signaled a biting trend which should bode well for upcoming trips. A little better scratch today that started with a fair morning bite then turned into a slow pick. We ended up with 34 tuna and 30 yellows which given the quality, made for a nice day. We are going to try this again tomorrow with the hopes that today's improved fishing signified a better biting trend.
