And so it continues. Big bruisers are patrolling the lower zone with just about everyone in the area getting their licks in. Yesterday's scores boasted of bona fide whoppers with several over the three hundred mark and quite a few other giants that are forever to be remembered as one that got away stories. Suffice to say that once again there are many opportunities at once in a lifetime achievements out there.

Only in the arena of long range fishing will anglers ever see the kind of opportunities that are presently available. There is literally no where else one can access this caliber of fishing for giant yellowfin tuna and come prepared with the unmatched capabilities our type vessels offer in these scenarios. This is what our boats are built for. This is what we prepare for. This is what we do. And make no mistake about it, we (the San Diego Long Range fleet) are getting some sweet justice as we settle into the coveted routine of hooking and landing magnificently huge yellowfin tuna.

So that is my general sentiment following Captain Toussaint's report from yesterday that featured another five yellowfin over the two hundred mark as well as at least twenty other tuna that occupied anglers not engaged in battles with incredibly spirited giants. It is game on, the real deal, incredible action, and every other description one can conjure up detailing very good fishing. What more is there to say? Once again if you are on upcoming voyages prepare accordingly. Whether or not the fish stick around remains to be seen but I would place my bet on more fantastic opportunities in December based on what has developed during the past week. The ocean is a marvelous place.
