Fish Report for 10-13-2006
Well we stepped right into a familiar pattern with what would have been a nice beginning taxed heavily by the local shark population, corn cobbing a number of beautiful, one hundred pound class yellowfin and flat out taking plenty of others. It is a rare day that comes easy out here and that lesson was painfully evident to anglers today who put their time in at the rail and suffered plenty of heartbreak. Overall the day was far from a total bust however with good weather, perfect fishing conditions, and a respectable number of seventy five to one hundred twenty pound yellowfin in the hatch. 10-12-2006We're heading down the line armed and ready to take on whatever conditions await us at the first destination of this mid October ten day voyage.
