We kept the ball rolling in the right direction with our final full day ending with an identical score as the day prior although the caliber of the action may have been just a notch above what we experienced yesterday. Towards the end of the day the casualty rate began to climb simply due to the fact that some of our anglers were wearing down but also, and this is the point I want to make, due to the tackle getting tired. Now we had a great day so a few more fish lost was not the end of the world, but if you are planning a trip to Guadalupe in the near future, or any time for that matter, keep in mind that every opportunity one gets at this island can be significant and one must prepare as such. Even if it is the final hour of the final day, don't hesitate to change that line one last time, double check all those knots, and make certain that all your equipment is in perfect working order. One thing I can guarantee is that every one of these beautiful yellowfin is precious and will be remembered as such, especially when future outings have less to offer in the catching department.

Tomorrow we plan to finish up targeting a few yellowtail before heading up the line in what is forecasted to be epic, flat calm weather. Honestly, we are looking forward to that almost as much as the yellowtail action. But first things first, we are going to put in a full morning of effort towards catching a few or more trophy yellowtail before calling it a successful voyage.
