We got off to a decent start scratching out a day on quality yellowfin in the flat calm conditions of the beautiful Guadalupe lee. Overall we see much less sign of fish but that is not out of the ordinary as the tuna have been moving in and out of the shallows with the moon cycles and changing conditions. With good enough signs and plenty of time, we plan to give this at least another day before considering a move to the inside

What it boils down to in the case of the fishing phase of this voyage is the fact that we have been on one of those rolls where everything is falling into place in our favor. For example, yesterday afternoon we had plenty of these beautiful yellowfin tuna and moved out of our prime spot allowing the guys on the Angler to slide in for the late afternoon/evening.
