We got started on the right foot today beginning our five day with a fantastic day of albacore angling on 18 - 40# fish in very nice weather and good fishing conditions. I can't say overall that I was impressed with the area of fish we were in but one day at a time as the saying goes and we will gladly take this one. With the weather in our favor and plenty of time to prospect we are heading out in search of variety planning to mix up the voyage for a few days before returning to the albacore pursuit.

Today's photo is a shot from a couple of trips back that I promised to send but was thwarted numerous times by poor reception and tough weather conditions. The photo features ten year old first time angler Sophia Butler who was a real trooper throughout the voyage and a exceptional angler as well.
