Long Range Fish Report

A nice full day of classic ridge fishing not extraordinary in production but well enough to log in the success column. A couple of early shots at wahoo started the day right providing all the unmatched adrenaline charge entirely unique to these apex predators. Great fun and extremely challenging is why the speedsters are such a coveted reward for the time and effort dedicated. That and that they are spectacular table fare, especially when cared for by the veteran Royal Star crewmen in our signature RSW system. Rounding out the catch with some fun, late afternoon solid grade yellowfin action the southerly trek continued with fine prospects on our bow. Today's images feature Royal Star veteran anglers and friends Patrick Britton with his fat yellowfin picked off on the troll and Doug Hayes with his first wahoo that fulfilled a long time angling quest.
