Following a fine night fast to the bottom we began a downhill search uncovering plenty of prospects along the way. Beautiful conditions, courtesy of the 2026 "El Niño", are distributed far and wide. As such the search zones have expanded to just about everywhere in the southern zones. While working south the day was regularly punctuated with stops on nice grade school yellowfin along with a few nice wahoo and dorado from a floating log. Cool stuff out here reminiscent of many voyages past in the bona fide tropics. Days end featured a spectacular sunset while a few die hard enthusiasts pulled on the last yellowfin of the day. Continuing the run south we'll arrive in a fall classic destination tomorrow in search of any and all for this great group of Royal Star veterans. Photo today features our good friend and master angler JR Dekleinhans with a dandy yellowfin coming over the rail.
