A nice morning in pursuit of variety produced a good shot at more quality, 30-50# yellowfin and a handful of nice yellows from the bottom. Pinning high hopes on another chance at some wahoo the wily speedsters no showed today perhaps discouraged by a significant change in the weather. A few squalls and some bumps in the road were a marked difference from the flat calm glory of the prior two days. All in good fun we took the transformation in stride working our way back up the line at days end. A changing of the guard comes tomorrow as we turn our beloved Royal Star on the next eleven day run. Our most sincere gratitude is extended to good friend and Charter host Ed Hansen and the entire group of fantastic, friendly, fun loving individuals. What a great time enjoying ideal fishing with friends old and new. Thank you all. Final voyage images feature first time Royal Star angler Ryan Holcomb with a dandy yellowtail picked off on the mini jig amidst a bunch of yellowfin and Ed and friends with a group shot featuring quality yellowfin tuna and wahoo.
