Our quest for the bluefin continued. After a fun morning catching our quota on red rockfish we took our tour back down towards the tuna grounds. After a short search we located a bigger body of fish that unfortunately wouldn’t bite any of our offerings. Flatspot after Flatspot with no bites became very frustrating but we were hopefully for an opportunity at night. 

Different start for us tonight actually booking and landing a few fish before midnight. But unfortunately the fleet made it very difficult to fish the few schools that were up and playing around. Overall we produced 7 more nice fish and drifted out the remaining hour of darkness for everyone to take a little nap. We’ll be hard at it again tomorrow morning.
