A whole lotta yankin' and crankin' this afternoon with some skin mixed in. Typical of the ridge at this time of the year the shallows are loaded with life hosting hoards of school size yellowfin tuna and skipjack. Sorting through the smaller models we accumulated a fine score of keepers (12 pounds or greater) releasing a bunch of overly eager little dudes to fight another day. The main driver of the visit - wahoo, did show in limited numbers that were certainly enough to get the blood pumping. Settled in and very pleased with the sign we camped at days end ready to rock again tomorrow. Today's image features yet another long time Royal Star veteran and dear friend Lannie Woulff with Captain Blake Wasano and her 71 pound, jumbo wahoo.
