Morning minutes ticked away into hours with little to show for our efforts and little in the way of better size gamesters seen. Damn, again. In rapidly improving conditions however we stuck to our plan giving the area a full scouring before heading out deep water, if necessary, come afternoon. Turns out it wasn’t necessary.

Good action on the quality size yellowfin that have been around this bank for the past month began just before the lunch hour and continued through sundown. Having our fill for now we set our sights on wahoo tomorrow making an overnight jump to what we hope will be green pastures beyond. Photo today features long time Royal Star veteran Mike Faherty with one of his dandy grade yellowfin landed amidst the fray.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
