Fish Report for 6-23-2014
06/23/14
Another frustrating day offshore hitting school after school of bft that for the most part wanted nothing to do with us. The volume of fish seen was impressive, we just have to hope they switch to a biting mode in the near future.
We did manage to boat a handful of bft to 30lbs and 45yft so it wasn't a total loss.
We are heading down to fish yellows at an island tomorrow.

They showed and we had some truly spectacular views of shining bluefin right next to the boat. Unfortunately they had a severe case of lock jaw and getting a bite proved very difficult. However we did manage to put a few samples on board. Karl Fechner gets the honors today with a 25# fish...... Read More
