A little slower but still a fine day with two more cows hitting the deck amongst
a fair number of 80-170lbers. The wahoo were a nuisance again today slicing and
dicing our tuna offerings and wreaking overall havoc on the gear.
We have two more days before heading for the Cape.
Rudy Scott and Capt Brian Sims are in today's shot with a 290 taken this morning
on a sardine. Rudy had a giant unbutton last night making this fish sweet
redemption.

The wind has picked up but it is still very fishable. Today Warren Whalen got the first cow and a new personal best weighing in at 230lbs. We were very selective today on what we tagged as some quality brute Clarion Island YFT's made it in the RSW.

In the afternoon we had another Wahoo frenzy, which resulted in another 30+ fish.

Rudy Scott successfully landed today's big fish.

In the early evening we made a move and set the pick in the bumpy rock and roll swells and they got on us right away. It seamed like we had the 6-7 going on nice 190+ lbers, we got our share, but in the end the other team won as we had many casualties.

All of the anglers still have a great opportunity to finish with a fish of a lifetime with two more days of fishing before we point her towards Cabo.

From the bacon wrapped lobster tails, daily sashimi platters or the lobster breakfast we are eating like kings, much props to Chef Jeffery and Nestor in the galley.

This group is having a blast.

Happy Birthday to Cory Whalen dad will see you soon, and to my wife Pamela.

Today's Standouts
Warren Whalen 230**
Rudy Scott 290

02/10/13 Another fine day of angling in beautiful weather that was highlighted by three more cows- 235,275,304. We also kept ten others from 100-150 and released numerous under 100. An added bonus today when a school of ravenous skin got on us and wreaked havoc for a few hours, 55 went in the hatch. Photo: Tom Nordstrom with a 275 taken on a sardine. Photo Here......... 02/09/2013 A little different today in that we had steady action on 70-140lbers in addition to six more cows up to 280 and a handfull of 170-190's. We have six personal bests so far and hopefully we get everyone a deuce before its over. With four days left we are going to start releasing anything under 100lbs starting tomorrow.
