Traveling south at a steady pace with plenty of time to unwind and forget about the day-to-day hustle of life. For some it was a late breakfast and a foggy memory. Yes the wine and cocktails were flowing. The comedy of the morning was almost every passenger had a different final score for the Super bowl; it made it fun deciding who won the football pool today.

As the anglers began to dial in their gear the crew also took the opportunity to check and repair theirs. Some of these mean jumbo YFT's reeked havoc on more than a few gaffs.

Today's raffle was dedicated to long time crewmember Sean Bickel. All of the proceeds will be donated to his kid's trust fund. Today we raised $2,000.00 dollars from our group!

I would like to personally thank the following for donating and being a part of the annual Los Rocas Charter. Aftco, Bill Boyce, Brandon Hayward, Baja Fish Gear, Fisherman's Processing, Fisherman's Landing Tackle, Fishing Video.com, Inside Sportfishing, Izorline, Ken's Custom Reel, Let's Talk Hookup, M & M Fishing Rod's, Nordstrom Woodworking Studio, One Industries, Owner, Rockstar, Royal Star, Shimano, and Western Outdoor News.

We'll check back in later.

The fun has already begun this super bowl Sunday, with the day spent catching up...... Read More

2/1/13 Serene passage, exactly what we were counting on, to compliment the final travel leg with the right frame of mind. As for activities there were few: the usual chores, completing fish processing orders, building on yesterday's yarns that are now at the critical 50/50 tipping point of B.S. to reality. Typical fishermen; elaborate details are the best part, even if a few are slightly embellished or augmented with a little fantasy. The main thing in this realm is to maintain...... Read More
