Fish Report for 1-29-2013
1/28/13
Another twist in conditions today in support of the continuing erratic theme. Despite the oceanic gyre attempting
another curve we managed to make a fine morning of it with a couple of good go arounds on 170 - 199's with three
that came in over 200. It was a great foundation that set us well for the afternoon push. But, consistent with the
trend, the push today did not come.
One here one there is what it amounted to in the end as the day closed on a good note overall but a whisper in the
immediate. Photo today features round two with Marius Coetzee and his beautiful mid morning 217 landed on the
sardine gear.

01/26/13 Steady scratching on premium quality today in fine working conditions; a welcome change enjoyed by all. Fishing conditions themselves were not so easy, and incredibly unpredictable, but it did not seem to matter much to the only ones in that equation who count - the tunas. Satisfied with the pace and quality we forge into day five with a building sense of satisfaction, and relief. If this fishing holds we'll be in fantastic shape sooner than later.
