Fish Report for 7-25-2012
7/24/12
A vast contrast in production today as a successful early morning on variety was the best our destination
had to offer. A long search following produced a few fat yellowtail but the feel of the place, that
resonated to Capt. Toussaint's and my fish sense alike, was way off. Conditions were fine but the fish
were gone; so were we.
A perfect opportunity to hit the road looking we covered some serious miles in the effort pushing down
and out all the way through sundown. Sitting on one brimming full tank of premium, RSW held swimming gold
we weren't too put out by the lack of production. But a little of that goes a long way. A slight shift in
our program tomorrow should put us back in the game.

And they will happen - mark my words. As for production the day's results are probably best described by the fact that we were doing our best to selectively target an exclusive quarry among an ocean full of...... Read More

7/22/12 News of the day by far was the vast potential discovered suggesting many good things to come as the season progresses into August, September, and beyond. Yellows on kelps in a wide variety of size ranges, plentiful Dorado in the same categories, scattered school size yellowfin tuna on a obvious northbound train, and still more Bluefin in the same size range of 15 - 35 pounds. After this day, that was originally slated as a travel session but instead became...... Read More
