We finished the trip along the coast, out of the offshore weather, in relative calm, enjoying ourselves
immensely. It wasn't a trip maker, or a day of legend, but it was a peaceful respite of stress free
fishing for the pure sake of it. Various red fish, lings, and other surprises satisfied the fishing crave
as well as the menu for a later date; fish tacos will be the call no doubt.

For this run that was uncharacteristically harried by tough weather the entire six fishing days the final
morning inside was really the only call. Without a doubt we were happy for it, and ultimately made the
most of our significant fishing time this trip - six and a half days on a seven day voyage, maximizing
the opportunities through pure effort at the rail.

As a group these anglers were absolute warriors scratching out a beautiful catch of quality yellowtail
with a good sprinkling of variety in consistently tough fishing conditions. Howling wind and sloppy sea
states did not deter these anglers from the task at hand; they came to fish, and catch, and that they did
through grit and determination. Of course I suspect that those beautiful, grease calm nights in the
anchorage did wonders for the body and soul, but the credit still belongs to these individuals. My
efforts behind the helm, regardless of conditions, is guaranteed. What anglers make of the opportunities
is entirely up to them.

So for this we are grateful and satisfied with the results of this annual seven day run. Our gratitude is
extended to co charter masters Larry Brown and Dave Berutich who did a fantastic job of working the
crowd, maintaining elevated spirits, and setting a fine example. We look forward to this voyage next
season and for many to come.
