Fish Report for 6-8-2012
06/07/12
We spent the better part of the day getting the proper water located as the area where we started the trip got blown apart. After a thirty mile move we got back on a likely structure and strung together a few schools for 60 bft from 18-30lbs this afternoon. No sign of the big fish today but when they show it will be around here. The weather is forecast to grease off tomorrow which usually bodes well for a bft float.
Royal Star master angler Len Cunningham has been on fire on the bft, he's in today's shot with a 70lber gaffed by Blake Wasano.

6-7-201206/06/12 Similar to yesterday with numerous spots of yellows around that were reluctant to bite but we up ended scratching out a day while staying out of the weather. After enjoying dinner in the lee of the island we're heading back out to the bft grounds for tomorrow. The weather is forecast to start coming down so hopefully we get back on them. Eric Brown is in today's shot with one of the three albacore from our first day. Randy Photo Here......... Read More

06/05/12 Incredible sign of yellows here at the island today but they made us earn every bite. The fish were up on big krill balls which made for exciting visual displays with dozens following each surface jig right to the boat. Typically they dont bite well when they're on this type of feed so hopefully it moves out tomorrow and we get a good shot. The weather is quite unpleasant on the outside but it is forecast to start coming down tomorrow...... Read More
