Fish Report for 12-2-2011
A memorable day of big tuna angling to finish up our stay here at the big C. We started scratching right away this morning with the bite continuing through lunch before tapering off. It was looking like we werent going to get our evening shot when out of the blue a school of 130-190lbers got on us and put on an incredible show until after dark. When the dust settled we had 41 for the day, most of which were between 130-180lbs with three more over 200. With the adrenaline meters pegged after a great finale we bid Clarion a fond farewell and started heading back up the line. Our plan is to look on the way up then try the beach for yellows to break up the ride.

Our tally was 30 tuna from 80-180 with the bulk of the fish over 100. In addition to good fishing our weather has been incredible, balmy and grease calm. We plan to give this at least one more full day. Rick Maxa...... Read More

The overall grade was better today with numerous fish in the 100-130lb range in addition to a handfull of 175lbers and two more over 200. Flyline or a one ounce slider with a sardine on 100-130 flouro accounted for all the fish today. With a few more days we are settled...... Read More
