We enjoyed another fantastic day of bluefin fishing. We hit multiple spots and stayed busy throughout the day. The bluefin were 25 - 50#. We also mixed in a handful of 20 - 25 # albacore. With a smattering of albacore showing up it won't be long before we find the main body of them. As for tomorrow, we are changing things up and will be fishing for yellowtail. Today's picture shows Dave Honadle Sr., who has been absolutely on fire, with a 60# class bluefin

On another topic, the fish we caught on the first morning of this trip were within 3 day range. The next morning another boat saw fish in the same area on his way down. If you have a shorter trip coming up, don't despair, the fish are getting closer to San Diego.

With good weather forcast and fish around we will be in this same area for another day. Today's picture is of an exceptional junior angler. David Honadle Jr. takes after his father in that he seems to have a bent rod every time the...... Read More

Our weather is good and hopes were high as we had a short stop on Bluefin tuna early in the morning. We looked for the next eleven hours and through sheer perseverance found a good stop which lasted until dark. Though we didn't see all that much fish, I know it is around. We will be in the offshore grounds again tomorrow looking...... Read More
