Fish Report for 10-27-2010
Today we looked offshore for the morning finding numerous good kelps in very good water. Unfortunately they were not very productive and gave up a couple of handfuls of dorado. For the afternoon we went into the shallows and found some nice 20 - 35 pound tuna. We had to do a little bit of sorting, but it was an action filled afternoon. I neglected my duties with the camera today. I was much more interested in catching fish. I will be sure to send a picture tomorrow.

10-26-2010Today we got in a lot of rail time as we stayed put on the anchor all day. The tuna showed better than they bit for the morning. When things got straightened out in the afternoon we managed to keep a couple hooked into the dark. A few nice yellows and dorado spiced things up. We arrived at our chosen fishing grounds in the late morning. After a good look around we stopped the boat and scratched away at a very nice grade of yellowfin tuna. We mixed in a few handfuls of dorado and yellowtail. We are off to a respectable start in sloppy weather. "Nacho" Camarena (left) and Mario Guerra proudly display their tuna. Photo Here... ......
