Fish Report for 9-5-2010
Not the fairytale ending we were hoping for but by this year's offshore standards we put together a decent afternoon. We ended up with 30 yft from 18-25lbs with a fair number of releasers in the mix. The offshore scene is showing signs of life finally so hopefully we'll see a consistent bite develop to close out the season. Tim leaves tomorrow on our annual Sternhog 6-day so have your thesaurus ready and look for his reports on the 7th.

9-4-2010Mission accomplished this morning with a good bite on the premium yellows mixed with 2 to 5lb bass which worked perfectly to fill out the limits. Very steady angling on 18-25lb yellows again this morning produced all we wanted by lunch prompting a move out to the West to try for tuna. We spent the afternoon working in warm blue water but unfortunately the tuna and dorado in this area were very small and most were released. We are moving into Cedros tonight with hopes of filling out our yellowtail limits on the premium grade before working up the line. Today's shot shows Stephanie...... Read More
