Fish Report for 6-9-2009
Our prospecting this morning turned up beautiful water conditions loaded with bait. We looked for the entire morning with the feeling that a good school was just over the next swell. By lunch we came to the realization that our new area wasn't loaded up with fish yet. So in typical Royal Star fashion we went looking again. In the afternoon we got into another area where conditions looked very good. Thankfully this area was holding albacore. We managed 34 albacore for the afternoon with a few yellowtail in the mix. We are very encouraged by the sign we saw as bait fish were hooked every stop. These fish are starting to fill in and hopefully this will just keep getting better.

Tim will depart again on a three day monday so look for his reports on Tuesday. ...... Read More
