Fish Report for 5-11-2008
A couple of great action shots today featuring another fantastic fisherman and long time Royal Star veteran Dr. Andy Cooperman. Andy was among the fortunate group in our final evening go around to tie in to one of those mega cows that wound up taping 271. There were many memorable battles throughout the voyage but the final round was epic as that last fish was highly motivated challenging all of us to the extent of our abilities. Even after we landed the monster with the big scoop, he still put up a struggle about being tagged and photographed. Apart from the fishing action Andy is also one of those individuals whose character always adds to the positive atmosphere on board during an offshore voyage. Rest assured good times are always to be had especially when we find the combination of Andy and Dave Hall on board.

One thing I can say about Dave is that he is a angler who knows the value of using the big...... Read More
