Wow! What a finish. Capt. Toussaint timed it perfect, and of course made the right fishing decision, as the wahoo cooperated again on their final morning offshore. The guys found the right zone and ended up landing thirty nine of the speedsters before calling it a trip and heading up the line. So, with the fishing done we can put the lid on this voyage that as far as catching and weather is concerned is definitely the highlight of the season to date. In fact, I would confidently label it a "perfect" fall ten day fishing voyage as the catch features the full compliment of variety, quality, and sufficient quantity to satisfy every expectation and then some. As the guys head up the line in the continuing stretch of glorious, flat calm weather, I suspect that everyoneon board, especially the Captain and crew, are profoundly aware of, and sincerely thankful for their good fortune. I will report in again tomorrow if any pertinent information comes down the line otherwise reports will resume on the 31st. when I depart with our next fantastic group of anlgers that I suspect are now more than ready to go.

After sweating it out while looking at spot after spot of tuna that wouldn't during the prior couple of days it was nothing short of theraputic to roll into a stop and see the water light up with eager fish and rods bending all around. Thank goodness! Now, with...... Read More
