Fish Report for 10-25-2007
Well the boys are on their way northward with plans to work the kelps offshore for wahoo and dorado for at least a day before continuing the northward trek. Grease calm weather continues to grace the effort and will make for a perfect day of looking. Now, as for the tuna, the day was a little grueling as the vast majority of what was found again did not show much interest in biting. Like yesterday, the size average of what they did see was definitely larger, and, as evidence of this, they did land one at one hundred eighty and another at one hundred fifty pounds. So there you have it. There are plenty of yellowfin of all sizes around down below making for good prospects both at present, and on upcoming voyages. Judging by what we have experienced thus far, anglers should come prepared with the majority of their equipment tuned to target finiky tuna. In other words, at the very least, an ample supply of flurocarbon. The day of reckoning, when these tuna drop their guard and bite with abandon will likely come, but until then anglers must simply resort to dirty fighting, or anything else they can conjure up to coax these fish into biting.

There were a few decent scores that came...... Read More

The weather is grease calm and forecast to remain as such for at least three full days, and every other factor continues to shine in their favor. So, the stage is definitely set for more good action if the fish...... Read More
