Fish Report for 10-12-2007
The guys had a nice day on the coast enjoying flat calm weather while successfully targeting yellowtail in the fifteen to twenty five pound class. It was a good beginning, charged with action and scenic beauty as the rugged coast of Baja California never fails to please the eye and the scrappy yellowtail never fail to stretch the muscles. Now, apart from the flowery descriptions, Capt. Sims is piloting Royal Star southbound with plans to fish the ridge tomorrow before heading below in search of glory. We'll have to see how it goes as it looks like the coveted flat calm conditions may be a reach according to the weather man over the next couple of days. The favorable news is that the combined effort of several boats will be at work as we all know the importance of finding, and catching those good size yellowfin. Before I get ahead of things though, the guys have a full day of searching tomorrow and a region ripe with opportunity. We will keep everyone posted and continue seeking the best.

I can not report that we "filled the boat" or slaughtered them 'till our arms turned to jello, but as the...... Read More
