Fish Report for 9-27-2007
The guys had another good day on the offshore grounds, but overall the catching was a little slower than the prior three days. It was definitely not from a lack of fish, as the phenomenal sign of jumping albacore and bluefin tuna continues to amaze us, the percentages of biters was simply down from the previous few days. It was still a productive day of fishing however and such fantastic results prompted Captain Toussaint to make a move south in search of other offshore and coastal species. With a favorable weather forecast through at least Saturday, the guys just might see the offshore albacore and bluefin grounds again depending on today's results. Time will tell and we will report accordingly.

9-25-2007As predicted, Captain Toussaint put together a beautiful day on the albacore grounds with miles and miles of albacore schools to choose from in glorious, flat calm weather. We had an unbelievable finish to our trip following a relaxing, flat calm day of travel heading up from Cedros. With a fine catch of yellowtail from Cedros we elected to make the run up as the weather forecast indicated "primo" conditions and the coveted, four days before the full moon period had arrived.
