Fish Report for 11-28-2006
The day we were waiting for arrived with good weather and a complete, one hundred eighty degree change in conditions that moved the fish to the other side of the rocks which proved to be an almost shark free zone. As such we enjoyed a full day of yellowfin tuna action while anchored with a mixed bag in the size department ranging from twenty to one hundred thirty five pounds. In the end we managed to land about twenty two or twenty three of the seventy to one hundred thirty pound class tuna while the school size, twenty pounders, a few wahoo, and even a few nice yellowtail steadily supplemented the big fish action.
With the change we hoped for coming to fruition, good sign of fish around, good working weather, and a group of anglers energized by the day's success, we could not think of a reason to head elsewhere. As such we are hunkering down with high hopes that tomorrow will be another productive day.

Well we began our day with great optimism arriving at the famed Rocas Alijos just after breakfast with the weather and fine working conditions in our favor. Had it not been for the one factor that has been a consistent thorn in our side, whether fishing Alijos or Guadalupe this season, we would have put together a good day on the one hundred pound class yellowfin. That's right. The sharks were at it again today and can only be described...... Read More
