Royal Star

Another fine day of offshore angling mainly featuring "aquarium style" fishing for twenty to thirty pound class dorado with a sprinkling of wahoo in the mix. As important to the day's success as the fishing itself was the beautiful, flat calm weather that inevitably makes for an enjoyable day of offshore prospecting, catching or not. In yesterday's case catching was fortunately part of the program and as such the day was logged as another success. With a northerly pull being felt by all, we headed up at day's end planning a full day of yellowtail prospecting in the beach area before ending the fishing portion of this voyage. With beautiful traveling weather forecast for the night passage, we are looking forward to a fine trip up the line.

The only other action came from two floating objects, one of which we had a hand in...... Read More
