Just what the doctor ordered here today to pull this trip out of the doldrums, wide open offshore wahoo action. Our first kelp this morning produced 43 fish and we continued to scratch the rest of the day for a total of 70. Those of you that have fished kelp paddy wahoo know how voracious they can be and how hectic the initial stop is. Needless to say, we hooked a bunch to land 43 out of one kelp. The grade of fish is above average, a size you usually associate with fish caught on the ridge. This area looks very promising and I expect to see some great scores from here as long as the weather stays good. We are presently traveling into Uncle Sam Bank where we'll finish up the trip tomorrow.
