Fish Report for 10-25-2006
We spent the day working the upper end of the ridge and prospecting for kelps as we traveled out to Alijos. Aside from a handful of wahoo and dorado, very little to report. Our weather is good and we still have plenty of time so hopefully we can put a few quality fish in the hatch out here at the rocks.

10-24-2006Scratchy fishing here on the ridge today for 20 school tuna, 30 nice yellows, and 12 wahoo. Our conditions were less than desirable this morning but the weather turned beautiful in the afternoon. We are going to give this another day with the hopes this wahoo bites tomorrow with this better weather....... Read More

We started our annual Ventura Sportfishing Club ten day today prospecting offshore for wahoo. We found numerous kelps in good water that produced decent action on nice grade dorado, but we landed only two wahoo. We opted to release all the dorado aside from what we needed for a meal so we can hopefully get a shot at them later in the trip and put them in the RSW.
